opportunity to be in a Marine life documentary and a movie “Gina and the G.I.T.” She has also preformed in a few
plays at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre where she takes vocal and dance classes. She attends Bak Middle School Of the Arts where
she will also be in a performance later this year. She is so excited for what may lie ahead on this yellow brick road…..

Melanie Garbo-Byrnes opened her shop in the Fall of 2001
and began Vintage Diversity in an 8' x 10' booth in an antique mall. Shortly thereafter, the mall was sold to developers who
ultimately tore the building down to erect another high rise. Melanie had to do something quick. She located 500 square feet
of space on Main Street in Wilton Manors near the historical "Antique Alley". Three months later she moved a few
doors down to 1000 square feet where the idea for renting vintage clothing for costumes was presented by a customer who didn't
want to keep polyester pants in the closet after his event. The rest in history! Many have asked Melanie "why
the name Vintage Diveristy?" to which she replies "we have the only store of it's kind, specializing in head to
toe costume rentals, created from original clothing trends from some of the craziest eras for fashion the past decades had
to offer. As well as an amazing collection of the finest vintage clothing as daily wearables for sale, we also have unusual
and original collectibles as props for the photography, film & theatre industry. Some are also for sale. So we're also
DIVERSE...Thus, Vintage Diversity!" The now 3000 square foot showroom is like a museum, where you may
stroll through each decade, display after display. Melanie likes to tell the welcomed browsers "The Flashbacks are Free!"
